The dual facades of the proposed Boston Museum and Marketplace on Parcel 9, adjacent to the Rose Kennedy Greenway, reflect the region’s respect for tradition and its spirit of innovation. The building’s Blackstone Street exterior (above) is made of terra cotta tile, complementing the warm brick of the Blackstone Block, which contains the oldest urban street pattern in North America. The curved glass façade (below) faces the Greenway’s North End Park.
